Snow College is located 120 miles south of Salt Lake City, Utah, in the beautiful Sanpete Valley. It  was founded in 1888 as an academy for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Snow College operated under the direction of the L.D.S. First Presidency until 1932 when we became a state institution.

As a two year state college, excellence continues to be the hallmark of all our work and activities. Snow College is the preferred choice of approximately 4,000 students who want a small college experience filled with performance and service opportunities. The residential campus in Ephraim offers outstanding academic transfer programs and limited applied technology programs. The south campus, located in Richfield, Utah, offers a broad array of excellent applied technology programs and limited academic transfer programs in high demand fields of study. Both campuses are noted for graduates who have excelled in their areas of study.

• Richfield campus comprises 7 buildings on 56 acres
• Found on Richfield campus – Sevier Valley Center (139,000 sq. ft. including an indoor arena, theatre and classrooms) and Administration Building – both facilities are used extensively for conferences
• There are six deans over six divisions and 35 departments at Snow College including: Business & Technology, Fine Arts, Humanities, Natural Sciences & Mathematics, Social & Behavioral Science and Career Technology Education

Academic Merit / Scholastic Merit (one year awards)
To keep the scholarship from one semester to the next you must:

  • Earn a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale each semester.

Nonresident Tuition Waiver (one year award)
This scholarship has the same requirements as the Western Undergraduate Exchange, (below),
however; this is a one year award and the scholarship CANNOT be deferred.

Western Undergraduate Exchange (or WUE, one to four semesters)
To keep the scholarship from one semester to the next you must:

  • Earn a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.00 on a 4.0 scale each semester of attendance at Snow College.
